Oh, there is just one more thing.

World. Before you head in for the night and start dreaming of sugar plums and what not I thought I should explain the name of my blog. I apologize for the oversight in my earlier postings but I am new to this and the excitment was just overwhelming. You are lucky I remembered this keyboard was in QWERTY format and not alphabetical. Anyway this is "Bubba Tunes" because from the time I was knee high to a grass hopper I created mixed tapes and would call each new compilation "Bubba Tunes," "Bubba Tunes II," "Bubba Tunes III: The Legend of Curley's Gold," etc. I got the name not because my nickname is Bubba or anything but because I heard it on Duck Tales. Bubba was a caveduck that hitched a ride back to the future with Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Duey, and Luey in a time machine they had been using to galavant across the space time continuim. Bubba, and his pet dinosaur Tootsie, were quickly befriended by the boys and Uncle Scrooge adopted them. I don't get the legal issues that were involved but I do know whenever Bubba wanted to listen to music he would scream "BUBBA TUNES!" I don't know why the name stuck with me but it did so now it is stuck with you World. Well that is all for now. Enjoy your day.

Introductions

Hello World. As a new member of the blogosphere I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Mike. I do have a last name but lets just keep it casual for now. I also have a social security number, credit card numbers, and a membership at Things Remembered but I have heard of internet predators doing bad things so I won't post them online either. If you really need them just e-mail me and I can send them to you that way. Anyway, back to introductions. As I said, my name is Mike and I am married, no kids, and am currently in law school. I am a midwesterner by birth and continue to be so to this day. I understand the country extends beyond the midwest but lets be honest, it's just fly starting country. I am sure you will get to know me much better over the many many days this blog keeps my interest. Keep coming back and I promise you will at least be slightly less annoyed than if you go to yahoo. I don't have cool drawings on my name though. I have to get on that.

Welcome to Bubba Tunes

Today is a day that will go down in the annals of history as one of the most memorable days since Ork the Caveman invented the Pizza Roll. Today marks the beginning of the my life as a blogger. I have read of "Web Logs" for many years but never really frequented them. The way I saw it was that why should I go on the "internet" just to read the digitized rantings of troubled quirky persons when I have troubled quirky persons in my real, tangible, and analog life with their real, tangible, analog, and completely crazy stories. Even more than that I liked telling my friends/crazy persons my own stories. Eventually, however, I discovered people were paying less and less attention to me and my stories. I would start in with one of my many incredibly entertaining tales of mystery and intrigue and before I knew it my audience would tune out. (Just as many of you are probably doing right now.) I first thought they stopped paying attention because I was boring but I knew that couldn't be true so it must have been because I have told the same stories over and over. It has gotten to the point where any one person in my inner circle (my brain trust if you will) can tell every detail of everyday of my life. To give my friends a break I have decided to start blogging and share my life with the whole world. Hello World. Nice to meet you. You're shorter than I thought you would be.
