Lloyd Carr officially announced his retirement today. At the press conference he handled himself very well and the media members in attendance applauded him twice. Lloyd has a rep for calling out members of the press when they ask dumb questions and making sideline reporters' interviews a hell of a lot shorter than they expected. Even with this, the media respected him so much that they still gave him two ovations at his press conference.
Lloyd's time at Michigan should be remembered for how he carried himself and represented the University of Michigan both on and off the field. If the next coach has half the class Lloyd has the school will be in good shape.
Good luck Lloyd (I know you read this blog).
