Bubba Tunes: The Weekend

If you follow the news as closely as me, you have probably noticed the biggest story to hit the headlines in years, Roger Clemens is pulling out of ESPN: The Weekend. For those of you unaware of what "ESPN: The Weekend" is, let me inform you. ESPN is a cable news network that broadcasts primarily sports related programing. A weekend, in this country, is considered the days of the week known as Saturday and Sunday. (Friday after seventeen hundred hours is also considered part of a weekend is some areas.) It is important to note that a weekend can be expanded by as much as two days at a time with the presence of national holidays. For example if Independence Day fell on a Friday and the following Monday was also a national holiday, (i.e. Memorial Day) then people would be off of work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday thus creating a four day weekend. So those are the basics. ESPN: The Weekend happens once a year when the network ESPN relocates to Disney Land and broadcasts from there. That is about it. The only cool thing about it is that Trey Wingo gets to hang out with the cast of High School Musical 2 and really this is only cool for Trey's children (and I don't even know if he has kids, it is just an assumption.)

In honor of ESPN: The Weekend I am proposing the following "weekends" with their respective locations and what celebrities should be there:

1. NBC: The Weekend; Location--Palisades, California (Home of Saved by the Bell); Celebrities-- The entire casts of every seasons of every Law & Order show every to make the air.

2. Martha Stewart: The Weekend; Location--Alderson Federal Prison Camp; Celebrities--The cast of Everyday Foods on PBS.

3. NBA: The Weekend; Location--New Orleans; Celebrities--The best basketball players in the NBA...I think this weekend may have already happened though.
