Michigan-free Big Ten Basketball Shenanigans
Kelvin, Kelvin, Kelvin. Did you learn nothing from your days in Oklahoma. While the NCAA is not exactly the CIA (see Tressel, Bobby Bowden, Pete Carroll: all still "clean") the will find out about activities of coachs STILL UNDER SANCTIONS. The NCAA's latests allegations are not exactly minor issues. We are talking about wide spread and rampant recruiting violations that will most likely land Indiana in a world of pain. If these allegations are true (and because it is Indiana and not Michigan I am assuming they are) then Sampson should be fired immediately. Indiana is having a decent season and they could do some damage in the tournament but that should not be a factor in Indiana's decision. What should be a factor is this: Bobby Knight is available! There is enough water under the bridge to bring the General back to Bloomington and lead the Hoosiers back to dominance once again. I am officially starting the Knight Falls on Bloomington Campaign to bring him back to Hoosier ball. If you want to join the campaign go to Indiana and stand in the picket lines. I would go myself but I have never been to the campus and I'm not going to start now.

Forget KNight, I'm available and specialize in taking over after guys who were fitred due to scandals
ReplyDeleteAs a loyal Indiana fan, I say suspend Sampson for the season or fire him. This way you show the NCAA you are taking action, and reduce the risk of heavier sanctions put on your university in the near future.
