NFL DDC IN DISCUSSIONS WITH CALLOWAY REGARDING PARTNERSHIP

BELDING, MI (AP) - The NFL DDC and Calloway Golf are currently engagedin discussions regarding the possibility of Calloway becoming theofficial golf ball sponsor of the NFL DDC. While Nike has traditionallysupplied golf balls for the event, Calloway has submitted a proposalthat has tempted the members of the NFL DDC Committee to reconsiderthier alliance. The NFL DDC has decided to give Nike an opportunity topresent a counter proposal, with a March 1 deadline looming.
