Chicago (AP): According to "unnamed sources," 2008 Chicago NFL-DDC at Cog Hill Host Committee Chairman Matt Nolan is expected to make an announcement about the 2008 Chicago NFL-DDC at Cog Hill some time this weekend, possibly as early as Friday afternoon. When asked about the announcement, Nolan denied the news vehemently. "I'm disappointed in this NFL-DDC press release by the AP," Nolan said. "It's not true." Nolan claimed that an announcement of this magnitude would certainly have "landed on my desk."
The AP is fighting back, however, with this press release. "We publish stories when they are ready," said AP correspondent Matt Nolan. "This story was no exception. It was a long time in the works."
Former Nolan aides are saying that news of the potential announcement was "highly implausible."
In other news, 2008 Chicago NFL-DDC at Cog Hill Host Committee Chairman Matt Nolan issued a press release this morning announcing that the further news regarding the 2008 Chicago NFL-DDC at Cog Hill schedule would be released over the weekend, possibly as early as Friday afternoon.
